Commissioned by Google in 2021 and installed in San Francisco, CA
The Distant Bay Hitching Post was specifically designed for Google's San Francisco office at One Maritime Plaza, which offers a stunning view of the waterfront. With that in mind, I envisioned the composition of this piece to depict the essence of the surrounding bay itself—the shoreline perimeters of Marin, Berkeley, Oakland, and San Francisco.
